Quality Northern Adventure!
| Sault Ste. Marie, Lake Superior & Wilderness | 6 Days/5 Nights |
Set your sights on Sault Ste. Marie and points north in Algoma Country! Spend three days and two nights in the Canadian Soo at the Quality Inn Bay Front. Visit the Canadian Bushplane Museum, the Soo Locks National Park, take a river and lock cruise, or perhaps a one-day rail tour to the Agawa Canyon. Then make the scenic drive to Wawa. You'll pass through Lake Superior Provincial Park where you can visit ancient native pictographs. The views along this stretch of highway are breathtaking! In Wawa see the world-famous Wawa Goose and visit this friendly town before continuing on to White River, the birthplace of Winnie-the-Pooh! | The next morning leave the White River Motel and board VIA Rail Canada's Lake Superior train for your three day/two night stay at one of Canada's first-class wilderness lodges. Enjoy your stay in the rugged outdoors where you can see an abundance of wildlife, tour the lake and spend an afternoon at the beach, bring your fishing rod (the fishing is great here!), or just relax, enjoy the amenities, and your own private cabin or suite. Back to White River via float-plane for your return trip home!
